The B1bus/Sound Sanctuary project:

A Movement and Meditation fundraising project using art to create change.

I'm creating artwork everyday so I can bring a few dreams to reality.  The art will be the catalyst to fund these projects and will allow me the freedom to do them my way. My most ambitious and creative project is the B1bus: a mobile restorative oasis for the Body, Breath, Heart Mind and Spirit.

The

beginning

The Sound Sanctuary is a "Transcendental Taxi" that picks you up, takes you on a journey through the senses and then brings you gently back to your reality.

With the art I have created I will fund the building of a dream I've had for over 5 years. The dream is create a space to teach mind and body movements, take people on sound journeys, create more artwork and share what I've learned/continue to learn in Life. With your assistance we can

bring the b1bus to Life in 2018!

All proceeds will go to the building of B1bus/The Sound Sanctuary which will be:

  • A mobile temple that stimulates he imagination through live and recorded music specially curated for the space and running through a sound system designed to stimulate the senses (Iron Gump & friends)

  • A movement and meditation chamber of yoga, qi gong and other mind/body strength training

  • A gallery of indigenous art and culture provided by John whitney Jr of Nue Gallery

  • A space to record/edit/document sounds from the nature, cities, musicians, storytellers, natives, spiritual practitioners and other indigenous communities/ individuals living that we visit during our travels.

  • Semi-permanent structure placed by offices, hotels, healing centers, retreats, art galleries and festivals so that people have continual access

  • Tool to create a map that connects communities and individuals and a way for theses people to connect with others as well

“Music touches us emotionally, where words alone can't.” â€• Johnny Depp

With just 1,250 prints of my art sold we can reach our goal of 25 thousand dollars.

There will be a few prints to choose from and each print sold will be numbered accordingly until we reach our goal of 1,250.

The Sound Sanctuary cost breakdown;

These are a list of the costs to create this project

  • tires, shocks, paint job, body work and outside redesign $4000

  • re-framing inside and outside design $2500

  • cedar wood paneling for floor, walls and ceiling for the interior $2000

  • wood burner stove (small, for the sauna experience) $500

  • soundproofing insulation $500

  • Gongs, singing bowls and other vibration instruments $4500

  • plants, candles, aroma infuser, artwork for ambiance $1000

  • Magnets, crystals and stones for building and energetic grid $4000

  • Security system $1000

  • all together $25,000

all these components create an environment for people to take a journey, for musicians to open up, practitioners of healing arts to share their knowledge and a space that offers a unique experience that some people may never gotten a chance to know.

To support the project buy some art, music, my book, donate what you can and share... share... share... this with others so that this experience is available for all.

The wealth I have is in experience and I believe that I can build this project with it. We can build this project with it! We have the ability to create something special together.

“Music has always been a matter of Energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it Inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed Fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio.” -Hunter S. Thompson

Some Sciences for The Sound Sanctuary.
Vibrational frequency plays an important role in the creation of our physical reality, because it allows energy to express itself into any form, including molecules, atoms, planets, stars, biological life and even diseases. To be more specific, every biological or non-biological thing has a unique energy signature that vibrates at certain frequencies. Understanding how energy frequency works is important for your well-being, because when your energy isn’t vibrating correctly, you are more vulnerable to diseases.

Our hearing is one of our most important senses, necessary for basic communication, speech and awareness. But have you ever stopped to think; what exactly is sound? And how do our ears actually work?

Sound is caused by something emitting energy in the form of a vibration. Areas of high and low pressure move outwards creating a form of longitudinal wave (a wave which vibrates in the direction of travel). The amplitude (volume) and frequency (pitch) of the sound wave depends on what the source is and the amount of energy supplied outwards. http://www.sciencemadesimple.co.uk/activities/s...

Human beings have been using sound to access deeper states of consciousness, expand awareness and heal the body for thousands of years. Chanting, toning, Tibetan singing bowls, Chinese meditation gongs, and mantras, are just a few examples of this use of sound. Today, with highly sophisticated technological equipment, we can not only observe the functioning of the body and the brain in unprecedented detail, but also measure the changes that take place in the mind and body in different states of consciousness and different states of health. http://www.neuroacoustic.com/newmil.html

Research projects in major universities across the country have explored the neurophysiology of meditation, deep relaxation states and mind/body interactions during healing. In one study a simple meditation technique used for 20 minutes a day caused profound changes in blood pressure, stress handling ability, immune response and feelings of well being - never mind using any kind of high-tech approach which could bring consciousness to very deep levels of relaxation. Using this technology as a daily tool for mind/body integration and stress reduction can have many positive benefits.http://www.neuroacoustic.com/newmil.html

Present technology allows us to affect the body/mind in two parallel ways:

1. Healing the body with physical resonance using sound frequency vibrations.

2. Changing states of consciousness using sound with sympathetic resonanceof brainwave function-Brainwave Entrainment. http://www.neuroacoustic.com/newmil.html

Thank you for taking time to explore this idea with me.
Much love,
Iron Gump
